We are at the base

We made it.
Sorry no update last night. No computer access till now.
We got in about 11 pm last night.
Same time here as Red Deer.
The workers at the base are amazing.
Breakfast was at 7, and a full day training.
The kids have just finished chores, and are presently moving the goats.
Our youth are pumped. What a great group of kids. We truely are blessed to have kids who want to serve.
Chau for now;
Vince

i'm so glad that your first moments have been great!
we were happy to send you off from the airport.
in your eyes we saw anticipation, hope and pliability. and i hope that in our eyes you saw confidence, because we are - in you and in our God who trusts you.
2 weeks seems a short time, but we know that He will do what could be accomplished in months or years in 2 weeks.
you are God's best for this place for these days.
we love you.

Hi Team!
Thanks for the update and photos. It is great to share in the trip in this way. I so much appreciate the leaders who are on this trip. Thank you Vince for creating this for all of us. My prayer is that God will bless you, protect all of you and allow each of your gifts to shine brightly in service to Him and the people of Costa Rica.

Hey Vince, Good to hear you guys made it there O.K., God is good. What's the temp there, we're in for a scorcher, supposed to be 33 by thursday. Can you let Sharla and Chantelle know I got my marks back and I got 87% on my final! Also pass on that on Monday we went canoeing with Richard, Wilma & Todd. Me, Todd & Sasha tipped our canoe just as we were trying to dock but we were fine. Let the VanderLeek kids know there folks managed to stay dry aside from some splashing from our canoe. Miss you guys already hope you're all getting equipped and in the groove. God bless. The Nimchuks

Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your mission in Costa Rica; we're thinking of you.

Those of you with malaria medication (Alesia K!) please remember to take it on time.
